If anyone knows of any local poker games, please can you let me know, by posting a reply on this forum. By Local, it can be anywhere in and around Preston, including Blackpool, Bolton and blackburn etc.

I will then add them to the site. Please can you include the following

Location Name
Address if required
Format (i.e. £10 freeze out, £10 re buy)
What days it runs
The quality of the location and how it is run

The Tom Finney, is now holding a weekly poker evening.

Buy in is £10, there is no Rake. Blinds are about normal.

As the group is new, there are a few draw backs about playing here

No Poker tables (you play on the bear tables pushed together, so difficult to hide your cards)
Dog eared paper playing cards
They don't fully stick to the rules (i.e. They don't mind string betting, they don't mind saying call and then raise)

They do put on some free sandwiches.

Although I have not been here myself, I have been told about it by the members of the Golden Ball poker group.

The Red Lion offer a cash game on Wednesdays. You buy in with as much as you want and are provided with chips to play with. You can cash out when ever you want.

Blinds are 25p for both small and large blind.

Rileys have two formats

£10 + £1 freezeout
£8 + £2 freezeout (King of Clubs)

At the the Preston Rileys the King of Clubs runs on Thursdays and Saturdays and the £10 freezeout runs on Fridays. They all start at 8PM
