The Tom Finney, is now holding a weekly poker evening.

Buy in is £10, there is no Rake. Blinds are about normal.

As the group is new, there are a few draw backs about playing here

No Poker tables (you play on the bear tables pushed together, so difficult to hide your cards)
Dog eared paper playing cards
They don't fully stick to the rules (i.e. They don't mind string betting, they don't mind saying call and then raise)

They do put on some free sandwiches.

I have to say it is not my cup of tea at the moment, but if you here that things have changed, please leave a reply to this message. I only live around the corner from the Finney, so would love to play there, but I cant get past the problems above.

Come on Finney, it could be a good night. Get some poker tables and stick to the rules!
