I was disgusted to get a marketing email from CPC which was advertising petrol cans and portable petrol pumps to transfer petrol from one car to another.

The government and other motoring bodies have gone to great length to put the public's mind at rest over the availability of fuel. They have made the point that this weekends strike by tankers drivers will only effect 1 in 10 petrol stations. If people don't panic buy there is more than enough petrol for everyone.

This stunt by CPC is a cheap and nasty way to make a quick buck on the eve when panic buying will cause unnecessary hardship for everyone.
